Welcome vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike! My name is Meredith and I’m so happy that you’ve found your way to Conveniently Vegan. If you are already a veghead, hello friend! If you are a meat eater, great! I’m glad you’ve made it to my blog, and hope you stick around. I’m here because I want to share why going vegan is not only an extremely positive choice to make, but it’s also a super easy (and fun!) lifestyle to follow.

A lot of times I hear newly-transitioned vegans say, “There’s so much I can’t eat/do/buy!” and with that mindset, it’s easier than not to get discouraged. I want to share with you that once you go vegan, there’s more for you to eat/do/buy than ever before. It wasn’t until I went vegan that I developed a love for cooking and started eating foods that are not only way more delicious than I was ever eating before, but also easy and fun to prepare!

The main main main reason why I have this blog is actually a 2-part reason. Part 1: There is not another lifestyle choice that is more beneficial to the animals, your health, and our earth than veganism is, and I want to tell scream it to the world that veganism is the BEST! Part 2: IT’S SUPER EASY (and fun, and exciting, and thrilling, and mind-blowingly delicious) TO BE VEGAN!!

I’m not here to preach to you why everyone and their mothers should be vegan (although wouldn’t that be awesome if everyone was?!) I’m just here to discuss why going vegan is the most important choice I’ve made so far in my 23 years, and it also just happened to be the easiest. Don’t you just love a win/win?

Great that you started this blog! Its also my ”mission” to be an example of how being more sustainable (or vegan) and cruelty free doesn’t have to be associated with a completely different lifestyle. We can all just be ourselves as always: dress the same, put on make up the same and just generally be the same…just without harming other animals feels a bit better 😉

Love your blog! Awesome! Thank you for liking my post, what a great way to meet! Loved your post on SeaWorld…. I wish we could just SHUT them down. I wish the world would just go Vegan… I feel sooo sorry for the animals and wish I would have gone vegan years ago. At least I am now and trying to spread the word! The movement has started and is getting stronger. We’ll just keep spreading the word and sharing our recipes, showing how easy it really is!

Yes what a great way to meet! And I agree, I can’t wait for the day that SeaWorld shuts down. And it definitely would be amazing if the whole world went vegan, so I guess that’s why we’re both writing blogs trying to show everyone why being vegan is the best!! 🙂

I need more recipes, simple, not complex, not too many ingredients and no sentient beings in it, so you’re my kind. Anyways, I thought I best give my followers including you, the heads up that I am changing my url to kindabexy.wordpress.com shortly. I hope to see you there in comments. 🙂 Namaste

Wow Meredith, thank you for all of that refreshing positivity! It’s nice to learn a little bit about you and your reasons for, and *joy* in being vegan. It sounds as though you get a lot out of it, which is just great. Awesome blog and I look forward to more. And thank you for the follow 🙂

Hi Meredith! I’m loving having a read of your blog so far! I definitely agree that following a vegan diet is the the way to go. It’s hard to change when you’re used to eating meat and dairy, but I’m going to give it my best shot! 🙂
Thanks for all the advice so far!
